Brad Diebler, 2006

My 13 year old son Bradly and I hunted with Bob Sundeen the 7th to 14th of October 2006. It was the best hunting trip I have experienced for Elk. I saw more elk and more shootable bulls than I have in 5 other successful elk hunts in New Mexico, Montana, and Colorado. On our ride in at the Jack Creek Trailhead I was concerned as I saw the devastation of the Forest Fire from last summer. However once we got to camp, we immediately saw elk. We saw 95 elk in one group as they rested up high away from the tree line, with several good bulls. We saw two excellent 5 point bulls that will be real dandies in 2007. I shot a huge 8x7 bull at the end of the second day. We saw many Bighorn sheep, Moose, Mule deer, whitetail deer and even a pack of 8 wolves. All in all we saw more game than we ever have on a hunt. It took 4 years to get a Wyoming elk license but it was well worth the wait. I would rate everything in Bob Sundeen’s outfit to be excellent, whether it be the horses, food, camp conditions or game populations. I look forward to drawing an elk license for Wyoming in the near future and you can bet I will use Bob Sundeen and Full Circle Outfitters. I can only imagine that the hunting will get better as those fire ravaged areas begin to produce tender grass as prime elk grazing.
