HIGH MOUNTAIN DREAMS
With 2 elk tags and 3 antelope tags in our hands. My husband, our 12-year-old son and I were ready for the hunts of a lifetime. We did that with Full Circle Outfitters. It starts with a 3-hour horse ride with beautiful views and good company. We stayed at Stewart Creek camp and glassed the breathtaking mountains and spotted elk after elk after elk. Not to mention some big horn sheep. Being the first woman hunter in camp in 19 years I was a little nervous about how I would be treated. Well I was treated with respect, kindness and friendship.  Bob runs a fantastic outfit, he has the best cooks, the best professional guides and the best stock a guy or gal could ask for. His crew went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some.

We took our bulls the first 3 days we were there. I killed a 7x9 on day 1. It was a hard hunt made easy by our guide Q-Ball (Quint). My husband killed a 6x6 only 1000 yards from camp on day 3. The rest of the time we enjoyed around camp and went on one of the most memorable horse rides (the snow? the view? the elk? the fall?). We won't forget.

Our antelope hunt was around Buffalo. It was just as successful and rewarding as our elk hunt. 3 tags. 3 antelope. Our guide Gus Malli was just as professional as the Stewart Creek guides. Our son Hank killed his first game. His dad and I are very proud of him.

Thank you Bob for the unforgettable hunts
