WILDERNESS PACK
TRIPS |
|
| Fully Outfitted Pack Trips into the
primitive mountain areas offer a truly memorable experience for anyone who enjoys good
health regardless of riding ability. By limiting our trips to families or groups of 4-12,
our guides can give personal attention to your particular interests, whether it's wildlife
photography, sightseeing, fishing, riding, camping or hiking. |
|
| Our comfortable base camp at Gem
Lake in the Big Horn Mountains west of Buffalo is an easy 3 ½ hour ride from the
trailhead. Mounted on one of our gentle, seasoned mountain horses, our guides will take
you to a different lake or stream each day for great fishing or sightseeing opportunities.
Back at camp, meals are served family style in the large cook/dining tent. Guests need
only bring their sleeping bag, personal gear and fishing equipment. |
|
PROGRESSIVE PACK
TRIPS |
|
Our Progressive
Wilderness Pack Trips offer a unique opportunity for families and friends to capture the
real essence of the mountains. Each day, our guests ride gentle horses to a new camp site.
In addition to spectacular scenery and excellent stream fishing, these pack trips are also
a photographer's dream as we travel through the natural habitat of such wildlife species
as elk, Big Horn sheep, deer and moose. |
|
DROP CAMPS |
|
| We pack you and your equipment in
and out on the dates you select. On drop camp trips, you provide your own camp gear and
food. We will be happy to assist you in planning your trip. This service is especially
suited for the backpacking enthusiast, allowing easier access to remote areas. |
